Photo of the Galaxy S8 Active appears, no dual-curved screen on board

The Galaxy S8 is a compact device that sadly, is not the most durable around. Samsung is going to cater to the clumsier crowd with the launch of the Galaxy S8 Active, as a listing by the Wireless Power Consortium suggests. The front of the device lacks the curved edges that the flagship has but otherwise sticks to the latest Galaxy design.

By the looks of it, the phone will have the same sensors on the top of the front screen and will lack a home button on the bottom. The power button will be on the right side, while the left is reserved for a volume rocker and a Bixby button.

The listing also reveals the device’s model number SM-G892A. Since it is on the Wireless Power Consortium, the Galaxy S8 Active will have wireless charging.

According to sources, the device might not appear in Europe but could arrive in the US on AT&T.
