Lenovo Phab2 Pro with Tango AR by Google drops down to $449.99 unlocked

If you don't mind using first-generation stuff, you probably won't mind testing out the Google-developed Tango AR (augmented reality) tech that's built into the Lenovo Phab2 Pro smartphone. This was in fact the first handset to launch packing Tango, when it debuted last year. Ever since its release it's been available for $499.99 unlocked, but now you can grab one for less.

Exactly $50 less, to be specific. Lenovo's own online store for the US is offering this deal, and it's valid for both color versions of the device: grey and gold. You need to add whichever one you prefer to your cart, and then apply the coupon code PHAB2PRO10, which will take 10% off the recommended retail price, making the actual amount you have to pay $449.99. You also get free standard shipping.

Aside from the AR gimmicks, the Phab2 Pro is a decently-specced phone, but it is unashamedly big with its 6.4-inch QHD touchscreen. It's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 chipset, aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The primary camera is a 16 MP unit, while selfies are taken care of by an 8 MP sensor. The handset has a 4,050 mAh battery and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
