Huawei teases P10 with latest YouTube video

With MWC coming in two weeks leaks tend to clear pictures around long-awaited flagships little by little. We already know Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus pricing and memory versions, but there was nothing official about the phone from the company itself. Until now.


Huawei Mobile released a 20-second teaser video on YouTube. It says "Change the way the world sees you", divided by shots with two eyes, hinting at the dual-camera setup we’ve already seen in Huawei P9 last year. On the upper side is the company’s logo while on the lower side we see “Barcelona 26.02.17”, reminding us that this is indeed a teaser for the upcoming Mobile World Congress in the Spanish city.


While rolling the message, in the last slide the background changes in shiny green while the lower sign changes into Huawei P10. The slogan "Change the way the world sees you" is a play of words with the P9’s “Change the way you see the world”. This could mean we may have a dual-sensor camera on the front - that way Huawei P10 will relate even more to the selfie lovers.


Huawei P10 will have 5.5” display, Huawei’s own Kirin 960 SoC and 4GB or 6GB RAM. There’s also a bigger sibling on the way - Huawei P10 Plus.

Updated Google Contacts app makes it easier to get rid of duplicates

Google is pushing out an updated version of its contacts management app, bringing some of the features available in the web version to the Android app. The v 1.5 update reorganizes the user interface of Google Contacts. Instead of the two tabs – all and favorites – the app now just displays your entire contact list, with a sidebar menu available via the hamburger button on the left. Opening that up reveals a new section for managing duplicate contacts. That’s a feature that was present on the web app of Contacts , but the process was more convoluted on the Android app. You can now also add labels to your contacts, making it easy to organize large contact lists based on groups, for things like family, work, or school. That’s another feature that was present on the web app and it’s now finally making the jump to the Android app, a place where it’s actually more likely to be used. LG showcases new rollable 65” OLED display

LG Display used CES 2018 in Las Vegas to officially unveil its new OLED displays - one of them being a 65-inch 4K flexible screen that can be rolled like a newspaper. The other is an 88” 8K OLED panel that we told you about last week. The flexibility of the 65” OLED display makes it easier to transport or store in the corner. Its small size allows for better space utilization, meaning you can take the TV anytime, anywhere and “enjoy bright, high-resolution content”. LG Display will also showcase its latest upgrades of the IPS technology. The panels now have IPS nano-color, “which expresses rich colors using nanoscale high-color reproduction particles, and IPS technology, which increases the transmittance and reduces the intensity of light reflected on the panel.”, said the company in a press release.
