Sony Xperia C5 Ultra with 13MP rear and front cameras is on sale for $190 unlocked

Remember when the mid-range, jumbo-sized Sony Xperia C5 Ultra finally arrived stateside in GSM unlocked form, official warranty and 4G LTE speeds included, priced at $330, which almost felt like a reasonable ask?

Time to ditch the “almost”, overlook the phablet’s now advanced age, as well as the fact it still hasn’t received a follow-up effort, and pull the trigger at a super-palatable $190 tag. You can choose between a silky white model on sale through B&H Photo Video, and a charcoal black flavor up for grabs at a massive 46 percent discount exclusively for Prime members on Amazon.

Just know the deals won’t last long, with B&H already all out of black inventory, and that particular phone now oddly listed as discontinued. Surely, it’s a little early to pull the plug here altogether, especially given Sony’s promise from way back of updating the Xperia C5 Ultra to Android Marshmallow… at some point.

Silky smooth new software is exactly what this 6-incher needs to complement an otherwise robust spec sheet (for $190), including octa-core processing power, 2GB RAM, expandable storage, 1080p screen resolution, and above all, one rear-facing 13MP camera, and one front-facing with 13 megapixels in tow, both also touting LED flashes.
